Swimarathon Awards
 

22 March 2024 Maidenhead Lions Club celebrated the 39th annual Swimarathon Awards evening. In January, 114 teams of up to 8 swimmers took part, swimming 10 teams on each hour from 7am through to 7pm, all ages, all abilities. They raised over £34k for their own good causes and Maidenhead Lions.

 

With many thanks to GB Hockey professional - Ellie Rayer. Our local Olympian who presented the cups & certificates.Since the Swimarathon started in the 80's, we have raised more than £1.3m at these amazing events.

Maidenhead Lions get new President.
 

The handover ceremony from the old to new on Sunday 2 July 2023 saw the emergence of Lion Jo Manisier as the incumbent for the next year. The club welcome her and wish her all the best for the term.
