If you would like a copy of our "How it Works" leaflet to get a better insight into the work of Maidenhead Lions, please click below.

Feel free to print the leaflet and share with friends, families, and groups who may be interested in becoming Lions.

The members of The Lions Club of Maidenhead are a group of very ordinary men and women who believe that we should do something to help those less fortunate than ourselves. Because we are part of Lions International, the world's biggest service organisation, we are often able to achieve remarkable results. We also enjoy ourselves at various social events.

If you are interested, we can arrange for you to meet some of our Lions and help us at one of our events.

Please click the contact us button below and we’ll get back to you.

Being a Lion is Not all Hard Work

Lions enjoy each other’s company at lots of social activities, typically including sightseeing trips to London, lunches and dinners, our annual Charter lunch and a garden party for our Presidential handover, theatre trips and golf.  We also join in various local events such as quizzes and events put on by other Lions Clubs, Rotary Club, and Royal Borough (RBWM).

Our activities are spread across the year and although we are busy at those times we do not expect members to be continuously available to help.

Despite the constraints of Covid19, Maidenhead Lions happily held a socially distanced induction today for 2 new Lions, outside in the garden. Welcome to Lukas & Romilly, with their sponsors Joy & Brian, along with our President Karen. Happy days.

12 DECEMBER 2020

We have started delivering the Christmas appeal vouchers to locals today & have already received this amazing thank you. This is why we do what we do!

" Today my children and I received a wonderful surprise from your organisation. I am writing to say thank you so very much for making our day and our Christmas! It was the loveliest thing that could have happened for us and I am very grateful. We are all still buzzing from it and ‘googling’ your organisation because we didn’t know who you were. Again thank you and Merry Christmas to everyone at Maidenhead Lions."
