THE LIONS CLUB OF MAIDENHEAD
The Lions Club of Maidenhead was established in May 1973 as a community service organisation.
The community focus is based on the fact that people who live in the community are the best placed to know who within their community need help and why.
Maidenhead Lions are a part of Lions International, the world's largest service organisation with 1.6million members in 206 countries.

The members of The Lions Club of Maidenhead are a group of very ordinary men and women who believe that we should do something to help those less fortunate than ourselves. Because we are part of Lions International, the world's biggest service organisation, we are often able to achieve remarkable results. We also enjoy ourselves at various social events.

Being a Lion is Not all Hard Work
Lions enjoy each other’s company at lots of social activities, typically including sightseeing trips to London, lunches and dinners, our annual Charter lunch and a garden party for our Presidential handover, theatre trips and golf. We also join in various local events such as quizzes and events put on by other Lions Clubs, Rotary Club, and Royal Borough (RBWM).

Our activities are spread across the year and although we are busy at those times we do not expect members to be continuously available to help.
